Our Process

At Rémi’s Classic Transport, we keep the vehicle shipping process clear, straightforward, and carefully managed from start to finish. Each transport follows a structured sequence of steps, including quoting, scheduling, pickup, inspection, secure enclosed transport and final delivery.

Every shipment is handled as a dedicated move, allowing us to coordinate each step with attention to detail and direct communication throughout the process. This approach helps ensure a smoother experience and consistent care from pickup to delivery.

Below is a step-by-step overview of how your vehicle moves safely with us from quote to delivery.

Request a Quote

Start by submitting your transport request with :

  • Vehicle year, make and model
  • Pickup and delivery locations
  • Preferred dates
  • Vehicle condition (running or non-running)
  • Special handling requirements (modified vehicle, lift suspension, low-clearance, etc…)

Each quote is prepared individually based on distance, scheduling and avaibility. You will receive a response promptly with transport options and estimated timing.

Once the transport details are confirmed and quote accepted, a 20% deposit of agreed shipment cost may be required to secure transport scheduling. The remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery as agreed in writing prior to shipment. Accepted payment methods may include cash, certified funds, Zelle, or approved electronic payment methods. We will issue an invoice for the agreed transportation cost after full payment is received.

At pickup, the vehicle is carefully inspected and documented before loading. This includes:

  • Exterior condition documentation
  • Notes of existing scratches, dents or imperfections
  • Verification of loose accessories if applicable

Photos are taken and the vehicle’s condition is recorded to ensure accuracy prior to transport.

Both the client (or authorized contact) and carrier will sign the pickup inspection of the Bill of Lading (BoL) and a copy of the BoL will be provided to the customer at pickup for reference.

Once the inspection is completed, the vehicle is safely loaded into the enclosed trailer using appropriate equipment and securement procedures.

During transport, your vehicle remains securely enclosed and under direct supervision from pickup through delivery. The interior of the trailer is monitored from the cab using an onboard camera system throughout the trip.

You can contact us at any time during transport for updates and live location tracking is available.

Upon arrival, the vehicle is inspected again by both the client (or authorized contact) and carrier and compared with the original pickup documentation.

After the final inspection, the BoL is signed and the transport is officially completed. A copy of the Bill of Lading is provided to the client at delivery. We remain available for any follow-up questions or documentation requests after delivery.
