CARRIER INFORMATION

Remi’s Classic Transport LLC is a federally licensed motor carrier operating under active USDOT and MC authority (USDOT 4497289, MC 1778656). The company provides professional enclosed vehicle transport services for individuals and businesses throughout the United States. Remi’s Classic Transport LLC operates as a direct carrier providing dedicated single-vehicle transport services. Vehicles remain under continuous supervision from pickup through delivery and are not transferred between terminals or third-party carriers unless otherwise agreed in writing.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Remi’s Classic Transport LLC agrees to transport the vehicle described in the Bill of Lading from the pickup location to the delivery location. Door-to-door service is provided when pickup and delivery locations are safely accessible for an enclosed transport trailer. If access is restricted due to low-hanging trees, wires, narrow streets, residential limitations, municipal regulations, road restrictions, or safety concerns, the customer agrees to meet the carrier at a mutually agreed nearby accessible location. Pickup and delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed due to conditions outside the carrier’s control including weather, traffic, mechanical conditions, route logistics, or regulatory delays. Transport services are scheduled based on route availability connected to the carrier’s operating region. Remi’s Classic Transport LLC reserves the right to accept shipments that align with operational routing efficiency.

VEHICLE CONDITION AND INSPECTION

Vehicle condition at pickup is documented on the Bill of Lading and serves as the official baseline inspection report. The customer or their representative must be present (or designate a representative) to inspect and sign the Bill of Lading at both pickup and delivery. Failure to inspect the vehicle at delivery or failure to note damage at delivery may release the carrier from liability for damage claims. If the customer or receiving party refuses to sign the Bill of Lading at delivery, the carrier may note the refusal on the document and complete delivery. Such notation shall serve as proof of delivery condition. A copy of the Bill of Lading is provided to the customer for reference.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The carrier shall not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Mechanical or electrical failures
  • Battery discharge
  • Alarm system activation during transport
  • Fluid leaks
  • Improvised or aftermarket vehicle modifications
  • Low ground clearance or lowered suspension
  • Tire wear or tire damage unrelated to loading
  • Minor cosmetic wear consistent with normal transport conditions
  • Damage caused by airborne road debris that cannot reasonably be prevented during normal transport operations
  • Weather events or natural disasters (“Acts of God”)
  • Delays due to traffic, weather, inspections, or unforeseen conditions

Liability is limited to the declared vehicle value provided prior to transport or the applicable cargo insurance coverage, whichever is lower.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Remi’s Classic Transport LLC maintains cargo insurance coverage for vehicles during transport.

Any claim for damage must be:

  • Noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery
  • Supported by photographs
  • Submitted in writing within 24 hours after delivery

Failure to document damage at delivery may result in denial of the claim.

VEHICLE PREPARATION REQUIREMENTS

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide an operable vehicle unless otherwise disclosed
  • Ensure the vehicle has at least one-quarter (¼) tank of fuel
  • Disable alarm systems prior to pickup
  • Provide all necessary keys
  • Ensure battery and brakes are in safe working condition
  • Remove toll tags and parking passes
  • Disclose fluid leaks or mechanical issues before pickup

Additional charges may apply if the vehicle is inoperable or misrepresented at the time of pickup.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Personal belongings inside the vehicle are discouraged and transported at the owner’s risk unless previously approved in writing. Remi’s Classic Transport LLC is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle. The carrier shall also not be responsable for any damage to the vehicle’s interior or components caused by personal belongings or loose ítems left inside the vehicle during transport. Customers are responsable for ensuring that any approved ítems inside the vehicle are properly secured prior to pickup.

PAYMENT TERMS

A 20% deposit of agreed shipment cost may be required to secure transport scheduling. The remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery as agreed in writing prior to shipment. Accepted payment methods may include cash, certified funds, Zelle, or approved electronic payment methods. We will issue an invoice for the agreed transportation cost after full payment is received. If payment is not completed as agreed, the carrier reserves the right not to pick the vehicle up or to retain possession of the vehicle at delivery until all transport charges are paid in full. Storage fees and redelivery fees may apply. All storage and additional delivery charges resulting from delayed payment are the responsibility of the customer. Rémi’s Classic Transport LLC shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, weather exposure, theft, vandalism, or mechanical issues that may occur while the vehicle is held in storage due to delayed payment or delivery refusal.

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Cancellations made by the customer at least 48 hours prior to the estimated pickup time will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the estimated pickup time will result in the deposit being retained by Rémi’s Classic Transport LLC. For transport services scheduled with a pickup window of less than 48 hours from the time of booking, the deposit becomes non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Cancellation made by RsCT will result in a full refund to the client. 

DELAYS

The carrier shall not be responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic congestion or accidents
  • Mechanical breakdowns
  • Government inspections or regulations
  • Route restrictions
  • Customer unavailability
  • Force majeure events beyond the carrier’s control

No compensation shall be due for delays outside the carrier’s reasonable control.

INOPERABLE OR MODIFIED VEHICLES

The customer must disclose if the vehicle:

  • Does not start or run
  • Cannot steer or brake properly
  • Has mechanical issues
  • Is modified or lowered
  • Requires special loading equipment

Additional charges may apply if special handling is required.

VEHICLE VALUE DECLARATION

The customer agrees that the declared vehicle value provided prior to transport represents the maximum liability coverage for insurance purposes unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Union County, New Jersey. The prevailing party in any litigation, arbitration, or mediation arising from this Agreement shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses.

PREMIUM ENCLOSED TRANSPORT STANDARDS

Remi’s Classic Transport LLC provides premium enclosed vehicle transport services designed for collector, specialty, and high-value vehicles.

These services may include:

  • Careful loading and unloading procedures
  • Professional vehicle handling practices
  • Photo documentation at pickup and delivery
  • Clean enclosed trailer environment
  • Continuous enclosed transport conditions with limited handling exposure
  • Direct communication with the carrier during transport

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By signing the Bill of Lading, electronically or physically, the customer acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions in full.
